I have worked in childcare for over 30 years both in nursing and social work.
I have had positions in child protection and currently work part time for a national children’s
charity. In my spare time I enjoy photography and birdwatching, both hobbies I can enjoy when out fishing. When I was asked to support the Club in safeguarding children issues I felt very honoured. My belief is that children and young people are the future of this great sport and when participating in these activities they have a right to be protected from risk of harm.
